The Pacific Symposium of Bioinformatics will be hosting a conference January 4-8, 2025, on the Big Island of Hawaii. The session titled, “Intersectional approaches in precision medicine” is requesting paper submissions. It would be great if there were some representation from Anthropologists at this conference. The deadline to submit is August 1. Here is the link to the session page: http://psb.stanford.edu/callfor/papers/ohdpm/. Very briefly, we are looking for scholars that want to present their research related to how intersectional identities interact to shape individual experiences in healthcare and systemic inequalities. Please reach out to Jada Benn Torres, [email protected], for questions or more information.
