The Department of Anthropology in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado Denver at CU Denver is seeking a part-time (60%) instructor in the fields of Biological Anthropology and/or Archaeology. This position will teach 5 courses per year and will have 10% of their time assigned to service.
Salary ranges from $30,000-$35,000/year, and includes benefits.
In agreement with department Chair, possible service responsibilities may include: serving as the department’s undergraduate advisor; co-directing our Alumni Mentorship Program; and/or directing undergraduate Honors theses and MA theses.

Minimum Qualifications: · Master’s degree in Anthropology with a specialization in Biological Anthropology and/or Archaeology.
Preferred Qualifications: · PhD in Anthropology or related field, with a specialization in Biological Anthropology and/or Archaeology. · Prior teaching experience. · Prior professional experience in Cultural Resource Management firms and museums.
