The Warren Alpert Medical School and Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology at Brown University are seeking a full-time faculty member at the rank of Lecturer (non-tenure track) with teaching responsibilities in dissection-based human anatomy. The successful applicant will: 1) team-teach anatomy for medical students, including lecture, dissection labs, practical exams, and training teaching assistants; 2) prepare and run human anatomy labs for the Gateways to Medicine, Health Care, and Research Program (Master’s students) including prosection preparation and creation of graded lab activities; 3) team-teach anatomy for physician assistant students from Bryant University, both lecture and dissection labs; 4) develop and lead a Human Anatomy Teaching Certificate program; and 5) participate in professional development and outreach.

Qualifications: Ph.D., M.D., D.O. or equivalent doctoral degree and experience in dissection-based human anatomy required. At least two years teaching experience in dissection-based human anatomy preferred. Participation in anatomy education scholarship, such as conference presentations or publications, preferred.
