The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences at the University of Missouri School of Medicine is seeking a non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor to begin July 2024. It is an opportunity to work with a group of anatomy educators who are committed to curricular innovation. Responsibilities The primary responsibility of this position will be anatomical education for medical students, graduate students, and/or undergraduate nursing and health professions students. Qualifications • PhD or MD, or equivalent professional training and expertise • Candidates whose interests complement those of the current faculty in the Division of Anatomical Sciences will be given priority. • Applicants should be committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship of teaching. Preference will be given to individuals with experience teaching a lab-based human gross anatomy course, and the ability to conduct research related to scholarship of teaching and learning in anatomy.
