A postdoctoral position is available to teach gross anatomy under the supervision of Dr. Rebecca Fisher in the Department of Basic Medical Sciences at The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. The successful applicant will fill one of three anatomy postdoctoral positions, forming a cohort of postdocs who are dedicated to developing their teaching skills. The successful applicant will also pursue their own research interests and/or collaborate on research projects with current faculty. Current faculty research areas in the department include: phylogenetics and mammalian paleontology; human and primate skeletal anatomy; paleoanthropology; bioarchaeology and paleopathology; and vertebrate and invertebrate functional anatomy.
