The Department of Anthropology at Dartmouth College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2023. We seek a scholar specializing in anthropological genetics whose research sits at the intersection of molecular anthropology, bioarchaeology, and critical engagement with post-colonial studies of Indigenous and other descendent communities. Candidates with an active program of field and lab-based research and expertise in molecular and genetic analytic techniques will be given priority. We welcome qualified candidates with any regional specialization, especially those who might bring new areas to our department.
