The Department of Health and Exercise Sciences (HES) at Truman State University is looking for a full time, one-year, non-tenure-track appointment of Assistant Professor of Biomechanics to begin August 2022. This position is ideal for candidates looking to build a record of teaching in a liberal arts environment.
Ideal candidate will have college teaching experience in biomechanics and relevant terminal degrees (MS for appointment at the instructor-level, PhD for appointment at the assistant professor-level, ABD candidate will be considered). The candidate will be responsible for teaching two sections of Biomechanics per semester plus one other health and exercise sciences course (e.g., research methods/statistics). The position can be remote if necessary.
