The American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) seeks an individual to manage and advance its educational programs in evolution, genetics, and neuroscience, with a specific focus on programming in the Hall of Human Origins Lab. This individual reports to the Director of Public Programs and Exhibition Education.

Overarching responsibilities: - Develop and implement programming for the Hall of Human Origins Lab, including classes for various audiences such as school groups, adults, teachers, youth, museum visitors and families. - Oversee all operational aspects of the HHO Lab, including scientific assets, staff management, budget and maintenence. - Primary liaison for the HHO Lab programming and activities with Museum science and education personnel. - Support integration of HHO Lab programming with public programs and exhibition education opportunities.

Requirements: - Ph.D. with a focus on human evolution, physical anthropology, or human genetics - Experience teaching science content, preferably in informal environments - Experience in developing partnerships with individuals and organizations - Fluency with writing proposals and reports - Impeccable organization, coordination, and communication skills - Record of working effectively with colleagues and external parties - Record of working in fast-paced environment and multi-tasking - Experience with creating systems, and maintaining records - Experience with managing budgets
