Minimum Qualifications: - Ph.D. in anthropology or closely related fields from an accredited university at the time of appointment - Evidence of potential for excellence in university teaching (please send teaching evaluations, if available) - Evidence of research and scholarly potential (e.g., publications, conference presentations, grant development) - Evidence of ability to work with and mentor a diverse student population (e.g., advising, student club involvement, independent study supervision) - Ability to teach courses in biological anthropology and areas of specialization

Preferred/Desired Qualifications: - Specialization in anthropology of health/medicine, with bio-cultural focus - Potential for applied focus in research and/or teaching - Regional area of focus open - Willingness to develop a local research project and include undergraduate students - Willingness to conduct fieldwork or applied community projects with students.
