Welcome to the American Association of Biological Anthropology (AABA) Education Committee website content. Our committee’s goal is to facilitate engagement of K-12 students and teachers, and public audiences of all ages, with biological anthropology. We do this by working with local schools and other community-centered venues like museums to engage students and visitors in hands-on, inquiry-based activities. Each year during the annual AABA meeting, we come together as a committee to share these activities with the local community where the meeting is held. Individually, many of our committee members engage their own communities with biological anthropology through various activities and collaborations, some of which are presented in education-related poster sessions at the annual AABA meeting.
